Now, avoid trains, buses as air taxis ply on Bhopal-Satna route

"Starting from Thursday, 9-seater Cessna Grand Caravans have started plying on Bhopal-Satna route," said Nafees Siddiqui, Company's Regional head.

According to a report in Rajasthan Patrika, the fare being charged for a one-side travel is anywhere between Rs 6300 to 6922. The services are available on three days every week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The plane departs at 11: 45 and reaches Satna at 1:15 pm. It leaves Satna at 1:30 pm and reaches Bhopal at 3:00 pm.

The initiative will largely help Satna residents who want to travel to metro cities. Disconnected by any kind of air services till now, Satna residents can take these air taxi services to reach Bhopal, from where there are connecting Air India/Jet Airways flights to Delhi or Mumbai.

Ventura AirConnect is running the services with support from Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Authority.
